Personalised jackets for your team's working day
To personalise a jacket, choose the garment your team needs first, then the logo finish. A fleece for cold indoor spaces and an outdoor jacket meet different needs. SIC Refinish reviews the model, sizes and design to prepare a quotation.

Warmth, movement and layers
Note where the jacket will be used and what the wearer will have underneath. Try the fit with the usual layers and check arm movement, fastening and pocket access. A chest measurement alone does not describe how the garment will be used.
Fleece can provide warmth, but do not assume rain or wind protection without checking the model's specifications. If you need an outdoor garment, state those requirements explicitly. A photograph's appearance does not establish technical performance.
Where to position the logo
Chest, sleeve and back offer different spaces. Check zips, pockets, seams and areas exposed to rubbing before deciding. Give approximate sizes and positions separately if you want more than one decoration on the same jacket.
The technique must be confirmed for the specific fabric and construction. Embroidery stitches pass through the material, which needs consideration where membranes or protective requirements are involved. Functional areas and manufacturer markings must not be covered or altered.

Compare models and prepare quantities
The catalogue includes the SIR Safety Comfort fleece and workwear you can enquire about by reference. Use the product page as a starting point and explain your team's needs; personalisation and supply options are confirmed in the quotation.
Break down units by model, size and colour. If part of the team works outdoors and another part indoors, the same logo may work best across different garments. Keep the final order breakdown to make team additions or replacement orders easier without redefining the design from scratch.
Check the fit before personalising a jacket
- Try the size with the T-shirt, polo or sweatshirt normally worn underneath. Fasten the garment without forcing it and check that it allows the usual work task.
- Bend your elbows, raise your arms and reach the pockets. Check whether the hem rises too far or the sleeves stop covering the area you need.
- Mark the logo position and dimensions on a visual proposal. Check that it does not overlap zips, pockets or functional areas.
- Record the model and size each person has tried. If you change models, check measurements again; the same size letter does not guarantee the same fit.
Choose according to the job
| Requirement | What to check |
|---|---|
| Indoor warmth | Fit, layers underneath and comfort while working |
| Outdoor work | Documented rain and wind performance |
| Personalisation | Fabric, seams and logo position |
| Protective garment | Manufacturer's instructions and decoration restrictions |
Before personalising jackets
- Define the working environment and required performance.
- Check the measurement chart with usual layers.
- Send the logo and placements, with quantities by size.
