Embroidered polo shirts with your company logo

An embroidered polo shirt identifies your team with a collared garment and a logo reproduced in thread. SIC Refinish reviews the model, design and quantities before preparing a quotation. Tell us how the polo will be used and send the logo file so we can assess the finish.

Start with the job the garment needs to do

A polo for customer service, one for restaurant service and another for active work may need different cuts or fabrics. State sleeve length, colour, washing requirements and whether it will be worn under a jacket. Personalisation is assessed for the chosen model.

Request that model's measurement chart before allocating sizes. Do not automatically turn a person's usual T-shirt size into a polo size. If the order includes different cuts, provide a breakdown by model so each person's garments are clearly identified.

Adapt the logo for embroidery

A chest position often makes identification easy, but seams, pockets and available space need checking. Give the desired size and say whether a name or job title will be added. A back design needs a different assessment from a small front logo.

Very small text, fine lines and gradients may need adapting to remain legible in thread. Send the best original file you have and ask to review size, colours and layout before production. Embroidery is not simply printing a photograph without changes.

Plan the order and future team additions

Separate units by size and colour, and identify garments with individual names. For example, eight people receiving two polos each need sixteen polos; those sixteen units are then allocated by size, without counting spare garments twice.

For later additions, keep the approved model, colour, logo size and placement. Ask about model continuity and repeat-order terms: a small repeat order should not be assumed to have the same unit cost as a larger first batch.

What to check in your embroidered polo proposal

  1. Ask for the proposal to identify the model, polo colour and embroidery dimensions. An enlarged image on a screen does not show the actual size of the logo on the garment.
  2. Check the company name, small lettering and individual names for exact spelling. Also check the thread contrast against each polo colour.
  3. Position the design in relation to seams and the pocket. If the order includes different cuts or sizes, confirm how a consistent placement will be maintained.
  4. Keep the approved design version with the quantity breakdown. When reordering, send that reference so continuity of the model and finish can be checked.

Your questions answered

Can I order polos with each person's name?

Include this in your enquiry. Attach the exact text and its corresponding size; the team will confirm feasibility, placement and price.

Is embroidery or screen printing better for a polo?

It depends on the design, fabric and quantities. A logo with very small letters may need a different solution. We review the proposal for the specific garment.

What is the minimum quantity and price per polo?

These are confirmed according to model, design and quantity. State the units you need for a quotation; there is no single published price covering all polos.
