To choose an industrial paper roll, you need to know the task and where you will put it. A large roll may be convenient at a fixed workstation, but size alone does not demonstrate strength or absorbency. Use these five checks to compare products consistently.
1. Define the task and point of use
Note what you will clean or dry, how often and whether the paper needs to move between workstations. For a specific use, request the reference's documentation: do not assume any paper is suitable for delicate surfaces, chemicals or food contact.
2. Check your roll holder's dimensions
Check the maximum width, permitted outer diameter and core diameter, which is the central tube. Also check whether the holder unwinds from the outside or requires centre feed. Two rolls described as industrial will not necessarily fit the same dispenser.
3. Compare the complete pack contents

4. Separate composition from performance

5. Calculate cost using the same unit

Example: two 400 metre rolls
The SIC Refinish recycled paper reference specifies two plies, 400 m per roll, a 23 cm width and 76 mm core. The pack contains two rolls, totalling 800 m. For an enclosed dispenser, request the outer diameter before confirming compatibility.
