Custom work sweatshirts: fabric, logo and quotation

Choose a work sweatshirt with your logo: half zip, fabric, sizes and decoration positions. Velilla 105704 example and quotes based on quantities.

When ordering custom work sweatshirts, choose the garment first and then plan the logo. Collars, seams and colour panels affect the space available for decoration. A useful quotation should specify the model, size breakdown and finish required for your team.

What type of sweatshirt does your team need?

Start with the uniform combination people will actually wear. If the sweatshirt goes over a T-shirt, check room around the torso and arms. If it will be worn under a jacket, consider bulk at the collar too. A half zip lets you adjust the opening, but do not choose from the photograph alone: compare measurements with a garment that already fits comfortably.

  • Half zip: allow room for the opening and avoid placing the logo over the fastening.
  • Two-tone design: decide which panel will carry the artwork.
  • Cuffs and hem: check the fit when reaching forward and sitting down.
  • Layers: account for garments worn underneath and on top.

An example: the Velilla 105704 two-tone sweatshirt

The Velilla 105704 in our selection combines grey and orange, with a half zip and brushed inner fabric. Its composition is 65% polyester and 35% cotton, with a fabric weight of 260 g/m². Fabric weight is useful information, but does not by itself determine how warm a garment will feel at every temperature.

The catalogue lists sizes XS to 3XL, subject to confirmation. Do not automatically transfer a size from another garment to this sweatshirt. Consult the manufacturer’s product sheet and compare measurements before finalising your size breakdown.

Garment customisation in a textile printing workshop

Where to place a logo on a two-tone sweatshirt

Specify the chest, back or sleeve and show the position on a photograph. Note the approximate width in centimetres. “Small logo on the front” is less precise than “8 cm on the left chest, within the grey panel”. This measurement illustrates how to describe a design; it is not a universal size suitable for every garment and clothing size.

Send the original artwork and identify small lettering, fine lines and important colours. We will review the technique according to the design and garment. Our guide to screen printing or embroidery on workwear can help, but you do not need to choose the technique before enquiring.

Compare quotes for the same model, quantity and customisation. Ask whether they include artwork preparation, how many positions will be decorated and whether individual names are included. Two quotes using the same photograph may cover different work.

For example, twelve people receiving two sweatshirts each need 24 garments. A breakdown of 4 S, 8 M, 8 L and 4 XL totals 24 units. This illustrates the calculation, rather than recommending sizes for a particular team. If you need names, prepare a separate list and check the spelling.

What to send when requesting a quote

  • Sweatshirt model and colours.
  • Quantity per size and total number of garments.
  • Logo, decoration positions and approximate size.
  • Individual names, if required.
  • Required date and delivery town.

You can add separate size lines in the quotation form. We will confirm price, availability and lead time before the order is placed. If you also need other garments, explore our workwear selection.

Your questions answered

Can I order sweatshirts without customisation?

Does the sweatshirt price include embroidery?

Prices are provided on quotation. Specify the design and positions so the proposal sets out which finish is included.

Yes. Add a line for each size and quantity in the form. Availability will be confirmed before you place the order.
